2-15-1782. Board of massage therapy. (1) In accordance with 37-1-123 there is a board of massage therapy.
Terms Used In Montana Code 2-15-1782
- Department: means a principal functional and administrative entity that:
(a)is created by this chapter within the executive branch of state government;
(b)is one of the 20 principal departments permitted under the constitution; and
(c)includes its units. See Montana Code 2-15-102
(2)The board consists of five members:
(a)one health care provider who is not an owner of a school that educates massage therapists;
(b)three massage therapists, none of whom may be an owner of a school that educates massage therapists. None of the three massage therapists may belong to the same national professional association.
(c)one public member.
(3)The board is allocated to the department as prescribed in 2-15-121.
