50-73-407. Department to give notice of violations and penalties therefor. The department shall immediately notify the owner, lessee, superintendent, or mining boss of the discovery of any violation of the mining laws of this state and the penalty thereby imposed for those violations.
Terms Used In Montana Code 50-73-407
- Department: means the department of labor and industry and the state coal mine inspectors employed by the department. See Montana Code 50-73-102
- Discovery: Lawyers' examination, before trial, of facts and documents in possession of the opponents to help the lawyers prepare for trial.
