Except as provided in section 38-3420, an applicant for licensure as a genetic counselor shall provide satisfactory evidence that he or she is certified as a genetic counselor by either the national genetic counseling board or the national medical genetics board.

Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 38-3418
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Genetic counseling: means the provision of services described in section 38-3415. See Nebraska Statutes 38-3405
- Genetic counselor: means an individual licensed under the Genetic Counseling Practice Act. See Nebraska Statutes 38-3407
