1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, a nonprofit corporation formed pursuant to NRS 244.197 has the powers set forth in NRS 82.121 and 82.131.

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
2. A nonprofit corporation formed pursuant to NRS 244.197 shall not exercise the powers set forth in subsection 1, 2, 5 or 7 of NRS 82.131.
