If either party is dissatisfied with the verdict of the jury, the party may, without a statement in support of the motion, move for a new trial upon the minutes of the court for any of the causes or grounds for new trials provided in Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure. The motion for a new trial may, upon reasonable notice, be brought on before the judge of the court in which the cause was tried. If a new trial is granted, the jury shall, within 5 days thereafter, unless the parties agree on a longer time, be summoned to try the issue. After a second verdict in favor of the same party, a new trial shall not be had.
