Nevada Revised Statutes 630A.299 – Homeopathic assistant: Regulations
The Board shall adopt regulations regarding the certification of a homeopathic assistant, including, but not limited to:

- physician: means a person who engages in the practice of medicine, including osteopathy and homeopathy. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.040
1. The educational and other qualifications of applicants.
2. The required academic program for applicants.
3. The procedures for applications for and the issuance of certificates.
4. The tests or examinations of applicants by the Board.
5. The medical services which a homeopathic assistant may perform, except that a homeopathic assistant may not perform those specific functions and duties delegated or restricted by law to persons licensed as dentists, chiropractic physicians, podiatric physicians, optometrists or hearing aid specialists under chapter 631, 634, 635, 636 or 637B, respectively, of NRS or persons licensed to engage in radiation therapy or radiologic imaging pursuant to chapter 653 of NRS.
6. The duration, renewal and termination of certificates.
7. The grounds respecting disciplinary actions against homeopathic assistants.
8. The supervision of a homeopathic assistant by a supervising homeopathic physician.
9. The establishment of requirements for the continuing education of homeopathic assistants.
