1. The State Board of Oriental Medicine, consisting of seven members appointed by the Governor, is hereby created.

- Board: means the State Board of Oriental Medicine. See Nevada Revised Statutes 634A.020
- Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
- Oriental medicine: means a system of the healing art which places the chief emphasis on the flow and balance of energy in the body mechanism as being the most important single factor in maintaining the well-being of the organism in health and disease. See Nevada Revised Statutes 634A.020
2. Each member of the Board shall, before entering upon the duties of office, take the oath of office prescribed by the Constitution before someone qualified to administer oaths.
3. The members of the Board serve at the pleasure of the Governor.
