Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 17-M:3

  • governor and council: shall mean the governor with the advice and consent of the council. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:31-a
  • Presiding officer: A majority-party Senator who presides over the Senate and is charged with maintaining order and decorum, recognizing Members to speak, and interpreting the Senate's rules, practices and precedents.
The committee shall compile and issue the results of its study in the form of a report on or before December 1 in each even numbered year. The committee shall deliver the report to the governor and council and the presiding officer of each house. The report shall be a public document available to the public.
