  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
A copy of any rule or regulation made under the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 206:28, attested by an official or employee of said forest service, shall be posted on the designated area to which said rules and regulations are made applicable and a like copy, with affidavit of posting thereon, shall be filed for record in the office of the commission and in the office of the secretary of state.
