  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
The commissioner, or the commissioner’s authorized agents, may issue a written cease and desist order against any person, firm, corporation, or municipality that does not comply with N.H. Rev. Stat. § 21-J:11, I, N.H. Rev. Stat. § 21-J:14-f, or RSA 310-C. Any such act may be enjoined by the superior court, upon application of the attorney general.
