- Department: shall mean the department of safety of the state of New Hampshire. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:19

A transporter may make application to the department for a general distinguishing number for transporter registration, upon blanks furnished by it for that purpose. The application shall contain such information as the director may require.
