Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 29:2
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The treasurer shall deposit all public funds in the treasurer’s custody in banks within the state pursuant to N.H. Rev. Stat. § 29:1 but the amount of collected funds on deposit in any one bank shall not at any time exceed the sum of its paid-up capital and surplus.
