Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 436:9-a
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The commissioner of agriculture, markets, and food shall appoint a graduate of a veterinary college of recognized standing, who shall have had at least 5 years’ experience in the practice of veterinary medicine, including large animal practice, and who shall be known as the assistant state veterinarian.
