This chapter applies to a transfer within the scope of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 463-A:2 made after July 30, 1985 if:
I. The transfer purports to have been made under the New Hampshire Uniform Gifts to Minors Law; or

Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 463-A:21

  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4

II. The instrument by which the transfer purports to have been made uses in substance the designation “as custodian under the Uniform Gifts to Minors Act” or “as custodian under the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act” of any other state, and the application of this chapter is necessary to validate the transfer.
III. To the extent that this chapter, by virtue of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 463-A:23, II, does not apply to transfers made in a manner prescribed in the New Hampshire Uniform Gifts to Minors Law or to the powers, duties, and immunities conferred by transfers in that manner upon custodians and persons dealing with custodians, the repeal of the New Hampshire Uniform Gifts to Minors Law does not affect those transfers or those powers, duties, and immunities.
