Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 656:17
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
On each state general election ballot shall be printed the words “Official ballot for” followed by the name of the town for which the ballot is prepared, the date of the state general election and a facsimile of the signature of the secretary of state.
