Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 656:27
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
For the first state primary election at which a political party has candidates for nomination, the secretary of state shall print for said party a sufficient number of state primary election ballots which in the secretary of state’s discretion shall most closely approximate the figures provided in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 656:26.
