Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 9:17-e

  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • justice: when applied to a magistrate, shall mean a justice of a municipal court, or a justice of the peace having jurisdiction over the subject-matter. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:12
Other provisions of law notwithstanding, the chief justice of the supreme court shall pre-audit all claims of the judicial branch to be presented for the issuance of warrants and this certification shall be sufficient evidence for the director, division of accounting services, to fulfill his responsibilities under the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 8:13, VII relative to debt incurred by the judicial branch.
