- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. When a person is properly admitted to the diagnostic center, accompanied by the order of the court, or on voluntary admission as provided for herein, he shall be received and thereafter a complete diagnosis made and a report and recommendation thereon in writing shall be given to the agency or court requesting the original admission of the person. The agency, following receipt of the report, shall advise the diagnostic center of the disposition to be made of the person and upon failure so to do the diagnostic center shall release the person within the ninety-day period of commitment, or effect his actual transfer to his former place of confinement, placement or residence.
