- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. Any eligible person under the program of Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged shall, upon the submission of such application and proof of expenditure as the department may prescribe, be reimbursed for the cost of all prescription drugs purchased by such person, minus a $2.00 copayment per prescription, during the period commencing 30 days after such person’s properly completed application was received by the department and ending on the date on which such person received his proof of eligibility from the department; provided, however, that no reimbursement under this act shall be made for any prescription drug purchased prior to the effective date of this act.
