Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 44:4-96
- State board: means the State Board of Human Services. See New Jersey Statutes 44:4-1
- Welfare-house: means a place where the poor are maintained at the public expense under the superintendence of a county welfare board in any county. See New Jersey Statutes 44:4-1
The care and general supervision of all minor children under the age of eighteen years who are committed to the welfare-house as mentioned in section 44:4-95 of this title shall upon such commitment be vested in the state board of children’s guardians.
