- Appraisal: A determination of property value.
- State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
13. An employee of, or independent contractor to, an appraisal management company that performs a Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice Standard 3 review of an appraisal report on property located in this State shall be an appraiser with the proper level of licensure, as prescribed pursuant to P.L.1991, c.68 (C. 45:14F-1 et seq.). The provisions of this section shall not apply to any individual conducting an Administrative Quality Control Examination.
