Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 50:3-5

  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 50:3-5. The commissioner may revoke the license of any boat or vessel issued as provided in this article, the owner, captain, master or person in charge of which boat or vessel shall violate or cause or permit to be violated any of the provisions of this Title or any rule or regulation of the department, and the commissioner may refuse thereafter to allow any license to be issued to the boat or vessel for such period of time as the commissioner shall fix.
