Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 52:14-15.7

  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. The disbursing officer shall furnish to each such person on or before February fifteenth in each year, a written statement showing the deductions made during the preceding year and the amount held at the end of said preceding year to the credit of such person. If such deduction cease during any calendar year, the disbursing officer shall furnish to such person a written statement showing the deductions made since the first day of said calendar year and the amount held to the credit of such person at the time such deductions cease.
