The magistrate court has jurisdiction in all cases arising under N.M. Stat. Ann. Chapter 17 and regulations promulgated by the state game commission. In addition to other jurisdiction, a magistrate has jurisdiction over such cases arising in any magistrate district adjoining at any point that in which he serves with the consent of the accused.
