A claim for relief with respect to a transfer or obligation under this chapter is extinguished unless action is brought:

  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
  • year: means twelve consecutive months. See North Dakota Code 1-01-33

1.    Under subdivision a of subsection 1 of section 13-02.1-04, not later than four years after the transfer was made or the obligation was incurred or, if later, not later than one year after the transfer or obligation was or could reasonably have been discovered by the claimant;     2.    Under subdivision b of subsection 1 of section 13-02.1-04 or subsection 1 of section 13-02.1-05, not later than four years after the transfer was made or the obligation was incurred; or

3.    Under subsection 2 of section 13-02.1-05, not later than one year after the transfer was made.
