Upon receipt of a record of conviction for an offense described in ORS § 166.255 (1)(b), the Department of State Police shall immediately enter the conviction into the Law Enforcement Data System and shall cause the conviction to be entered into the databases of the National Crime Information Center of the United States Department of Justice. The entry must include any judicial findings or terms of the judgment, when available, that are necessary to designate the conviction as a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence as defined in 18 U.S.C. § 921 or as an offense described in ORS § 166.255 (1)(b).
