Except as provided in ORS § 255.400 to 255.424, the Secretary of State by rule shall require the districts that are not in compliance with ORS § 255.335 to so comply. For this purpose, the rule may require adjusting or staggering terms of board members. [Formerly 259.235; 1981 c.173 § 36; 2019 c.449 § 43]
