Consent is given to the United States to acquire the premises and property described in the preamble of chapter 77, Oregon Laws 1913 (Oregon City canal area). The United States may enter upon and use and occupy such lands and premises and shall have the right of exclusive jurisdiction over the lands and premises, subject to ORS § 272.015. [Formerly 272.090]

- City: includes any incorporated village or town. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- United States: includes territories, outlying possessions and the District of Columbia. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
