All assignments of certificates of sale shall be executed and acknowledged in the same manner as a deed to real estate. The assignee, upon full payment of the amount due on the purchase price, and delivery to the Department of State Lands of such certificate and assignment, shall receive a deed for the land described in such certificate, in the name of the assignee. - Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
- Department: means the Department of State Lands. See Oregon Statutes 273.006
- Land: includes water, water rights, easements of every nature and all appurtenances to land. See Oregon Statutes 273.006
