Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 384.415

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC

(1) Purchase, acquire and operate ferries between such places; or

(2) Lease, rent or hire and operate ferries; or

(3) Contract with others for the operation of ferries between such places.
