(1) A person desiring to practice veterinary medicine, dentistry or surgery in this state shall make a written application to the executive director of the Oregon State Veterinary Medical Examining Board for a license to practice. The application shall be on a form provided by the board.

- Board: means the Oregon State Veterinary Medical Examining Board. See Oregon Statutes 686.010
- Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
(2) Except examination papers which may be destroyed after a five-year period, all applications and papers in connection therewith shall be permanently filed in the office of the executive director of the board. [1953 c.624 § 4; 1967 c.334 § 5; 2003 c.163 § 3]
