Oregon Statutes 759.697 – Program coordinator; program administration
(1) The Public Utility Commission shall employ a coordinator for the Telecommunication Devices Access Program, who shall be primarily responsible for:

- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Telecommunications: means the transmission of information chosen by a person, between or among points specified by the person, without change in the form or content of the information sent or received. See Oregon Statutes 759.005
(a) The distribution and maintenance of assistive telecommunication devices and adaptive equipment;
(b) The provision of telecommunications relay services and monitoring of those service providers;
(c) The provision of communication facilitator services; and
(d) Community outreach to locate potential beneficiaries of the Telecommunication Devices Access Program.
(2) The commission may contract with any governmental agency, or other entity the commission considers to be qualified, to assist the commission in the provision of communication facilitator services or the administration of ORS § 759.693 to 759.698.
