Terms Used In South Carolina Code 1-11-740
- Board: means the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority. See South Carolina Code 1-11-703
- State Retirement Systems: means all retirement systems established pursuant to Title 9 except for the National Guard Retirement System. See South Carolina Code 1-11-703
The Division of Insurance Services of the board may develop an optional long-term care insurance program for active and retired members of the various state retirement systems depending on the availability of a qualified vendor. A program must require members to pay the full insurance premium.
