- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
The violation of any of the provisions of §§ 10-11-40 to 10-11-60 and subsection (2) of § 10-11-80 shall constitute a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, the offender shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars or imprisonment for not more than thirty days. The penalties for violation of any of the other criminal laws of the State shall be as provided for by law.
