Terms Used In South Carolina Code 45-7-70

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
Any person violating the provisions of § 45-7-10 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, be fined the sum of not less than twenty dollars nor more than one hundred dollars or imprisoned for not more than thirty days in the discretion of the court. Any person violating the provisions of said section shall commit separate offenses for each day such provisions are violated.
