Such agent or agents shall also at the direction of the board assist the county treasurer in the preparation and institution of taxdeed proceedings on behalf of the county and render any necessary assistance to the board and the county auditor in the sale of real property acquired by the county through taxdeed proceedings, mortgage foreclosure, or other source, and perform such other duties in relation to any such property as the board of county commissioners may prescribe.
