The plaintiff may also, in any case, be committed, let to bail, or the plantiff’s bail diminished or increased, as justice may require.
Terms Used In Tennessee Code 29-21-120
- Bail: Security given for the release of a criminal defendant or witness from legal custody (usually in the form of money) to secure his/her appearance on the day and time appointed.
- Code: includes the Tennessee Code and all amendments and revisions to the code and all additions and supplements to the code. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- Plaintiff: The person who files the complaint in a civil lawsuit.
