Terms Used In Tennessee Code 33-5-407
- commissioner: means the commissioner of intellectual and developmental disabilities or the commissioner's designee. See Tennessee Code 33-5-401
- Person: includes a corporation, firm, company or association. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
Without regard to its wording, any court order of commitment under this part shall be considered in law as a transfer of the person to the custody of the commissioner.
