In consultation with the department, the department of health and human services, the unemployment insurance agency, Michigan works agencies, and the department of corrections, the department of treasury shall educate individuals whose driver responsibility fee obligations are affected by changes made to state law on the effective date of the amendatory act that added this section. The education required by this subsection shall include informational materials and effective outreach.
