Terms Used In Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 61.81

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • Commission: means the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. See Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 1.04

Section 11.67 applies to an appeal from a decision or order of the commission or administrator cancelling or suspending a license.
