- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
Notwithstanding the terms of any franchise, a manufacturer, distributor, or representative may not, after a complaint and a hearing, fail or refuse to perform an obligation placed on the manufacturer in connection with the preparation, delivery, and warranty of a new motor vehicle as provided in the manufacturer’s warranty, preparation, and delivery agreements.
