An appeal may be taken only to the Supreme Court and may be taken only by a party appearing at the hearing. |

- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

No appeal is allowed unless the notice of appeal is filed within 10 days after the date of entry of the judgment. |

The Supreme Court shall expedite and give priority to the docketing, briefing, hearing, and decision on appeal. |
