Director: means the director of the Department of Land Management or the director's designee. See Utah Code 63L-8-102
Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
Public land: means any land or land interest:
(a)
acquired by the state from the federal government pursuant to Section 63L-6-103, except:
for which the state is given management responsibility from the federal government. See Utah Code 63L-8-102
(a)
prepare a report on the public land in accordance with Subsection (2); and
(b)
submit the report to the Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Interim Committee no later than October 31 annually.
(2)
A list of programs and specific information to be included in the report described in Subsection (1) shall be developed by the Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Interim Committee before the end of each fiscal year.
