The director, through the office of risk management, may purchase, or contract for the purchase of, property and liability insurance for any municipality upon request of the municipality.
Terms Used In Washington Code 43.19.772
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
As used in this section, “municipality” means any city, town, county, special purpose district, municipal corporation, or political subdivision of the state of Washington.
