The purpose of this article is to provide the opportunity for public participation in the decision to locate commercial hazardous waste management facilities and to locate any hazardous waste management facility which disposes of greater than ten thousand tons of hazardous waste per annum in West Virginia.
Terms Used In West Virginia Code 22C-6-1
- Hazardous waste management facility: means any facility including land and structures, appurtenances, improvements and equipment used for the treatment, storage or disposal of hazardous wastes, which accepts hazardous waste for storage, treatment or disposal. See West Virginia Code 22C-6-2
