Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 240.02
- Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
- Person: includes all partnerships, associations and bodies politic or corporate. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
No such conveyance or charge shall be deemed fraudulent in favor of a subsequent purchaser who shall have actual or legal notice thereof at the time of his or her purchase, unless it shall appear that the grantee in such conveyance or person to be benefited by such charge was privy to the fraud intended.
