- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
- Person: includes all partnerships, associations and bodies politic or corporate. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
If a law enforcement officer arrests a person for a violation of the intoxicated snowmobiling law or the refusal law, the law enforcement officer shall notify the department of the arrest as soon as practicable.
