  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 4. The director shall administer the homestead property tax reimbursement program. A payment for the homestead property tax reimbursement amount, as calculated by the director, shall be mailed to each person determined by the director to be an eligible claimant under this act on or before July 15, 1999 and July 15 annually thereafter, except that the payment of any homestead property tax reimbursement amount for an eligible claimant whose application is filed during the period May 1 through June 1 shall be mailed on or before September 1 annually. Provided further, however, that the payment of any homestead property tax reimbursement amount for an eligible claimant whose application is filed during a period after June 1 pursuant to an extended application deadline as may be designated by the director shall be mailed on or before such latter mailing date as the director may determine. All payments made pursuant to this section shall be appropriated from receipts in the Casino Revenue Fund.
