- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
A health emergency claim under Section 6-5-792 or a claim under Section 6-5-793 or 6-5-794 must be filed not later than two years after the date of the damages, injury, or death.
