- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
- person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
An arrest is made by the actual restraint of a person or by a person’s submission to the custody of the person making the arrest.
